Sade "Sadevillain - The Mixtape" 2022-10-14 liner notes by LAYLA GIBBONAs some of you will know, MF DOOM is notorious for sampling some of SADE's greatest works on several tracks, so UK DJ SANH2K11 conceived of this cool mashup record. 8 tracks of MF DOOM accapellas over SADE laced beats, and the combination works surprisingly well. Seeing as Doom sampled Sade for the original "Operation Doomsday" beat, it all kinda makes sense. Check "Silver Spoon," "Hold On Vaughn," and the ridiculously smooth "Hot Pants" for a taste.
